Last week we have celebrated the Christmas first time. We played many games: water gun wars, baseball on the wet grass (actually I only watched that), look at that helicopter, eat as much as you can.

There's a web page that allows people to create their own Arwey notebooks cover. It's an old design but I forgot to share. Anyway, only Turkey residents can use it. Sorry. :)

This post is for people who ask regularly what I'm doing. It's interesting that all of the books that I've illustrated recently are waiting to be published. I can't believe there are more than 10!

These are 2 of them which was written by Lynn Van der Wagen. She's writing little stories about Australian animals and there are more books to be seen.

I haven't updated here for a long time, but I have been busy with some beautiful stuff. One of them is the Mary Bea! It was such a great project that made me eat many strawberries! Thank you Tamara Hogan to find and introduce me to your very cute Mary. And it was also lovely (as always) to work with my husband Ozan who designed the book. Mary Bea will be published soon.

Bir suredir Avustralya'da oldugum icin Ingilizce'ye daha onem verir oldum ama anadilimi unutmadim tabi ki. Insanin ana dili gibisi de yok ayrica... :) (Bunu soylerken klavyemin Turkce karakterlere izin vermemesi de cok hos tabi.)

Mary Bea burada cok severek resimledigim kitaplardan biri. Tamara Hogan yazdi, Ozan tasarimini yapti, ben resimledim. Turkiye'dekiler muhtemelen bundan mahrum kalacak o yuzden isteseniz kitabin sonundaki muhtesem cilekli milkshake (bunun Turkce'sini bilmiyorum) tarifini size gizlice verebilirim. Children’s Rights

The illustration for Children’s Rights Hand Book, item 38. Children Foundation organized this project and 40 illustrators illustrated 40 items of children’s rights. The book has been published and also was featured on the exibition of First Children’s Right Congress in Turkey. But unfortunately, I haven’t seem them.

I’ve made a stop motion puppet of my husband Ozan at Ozlem Akin’s workshop. She is a sweet teacher. I enjoyed very much at that four days. I am planning to animate this puppet. One little animation in everyweek.

Bu benim ilk ve tek yarı-mimari projem :) Mimariden anlamadan mekan tasarlamak o kadar keyifliydi ki, gene olsa gene yaparım. (Mimar babam da birazcık yardım etti.) Daha da keyiflisi aldığım övgülerdi... :) Yakinda hayata gececek galiba ;)

This was my first and only architectural design project. I have no idea about architect so i enjoyed very much. :) I like to work on little enjoyable details. My father helped me (he is an architect.
